Wave Hill, Bronx, New York

I had no idea this 8-acre public garden and cultural center in the Bronx existed! Let alone a Mansion with dark wood to give you that comfort feeling for a wedding reception.

Melissa & Robert's wedding took place at Wave Hill. Originally, the ketubah signing was to take place in the gardens on the hill. Then the white Chuppah ceremony was to take place in front of the Pergola with the Hudson River as its back drop. However, the weather could not wait until the next day.

The staff moved the ceremony in its patio tent, and created a romantic area.

I also had the opportunity to see the upstairs for the couple and their wedding party. The Ketubah, Jewish wedding contract was signed there.

Visit the gardens and you will not feel you are in the city of the Bronx.
