Jewish Wedding Rings Tradition

by Rabbi Frank

Solid Gold Wedding Rings

Solid Gold Wedding Rings

One of my favorite Jewish wedding rituals, of the ones I've witnessed thus far, is when a bride's family tradition included using a wedding ring of her great great grandmother.

This ring blessed all the generations before the bride at every Jewish wedding ceremony.

The bride was the 4th generation to be blessed with this ring. The bride never met her great great grandmother, but she felt her spirit with her on her wedding day.

The rings are an important part of any Jewish wedding. This family's special Jewish wedding ring tradition made the ceremony even more memorable.
